Countdown
Friday, December 31, 2010 @ 8:06 PM
Okay it's currently 8.06pm and another 3 hours and 54 mins to go till the start of 2011. Too fast, seriously, too fast. I gotta say this year was pretty eventful for me, though i can safely say my secondary two years were the best for me in my secondary life. :>
There's still things i wanna tell some people that i never got a chance to say and i feel like posting them here but nah i think i'd rather keep them with me for now.
Okay how about me telling you what's made my 2010 eventful? *Warning it's a pretty long post. If you really read all the way, you're a truly loyal reader. :>
I've attended many camps this year. LINE, OBS, council, sec2'10 camp etc.. but i guess i gotta say the most memorable ones for me were LINE camp @ jurong junior college and outward bound @ pulau ubin. I cant believe i could go for outward bound was just cos the councillors needed a last minute replacement for zhengwei! Lucky me. :b I got to make friends with people i'd never never meet if it werent for these camps. Sad to say we always say keep in touch aft everything ends, but it never happens..except for a few. :)
Kampung 5~ See the rafia string on the floor? We were supposed to make our 'emotion web' here. The first person holding the end of the string passed the string to another person he/she wanted to say something to and it goes on, forming some sort of spider web. What makes it unique is that no two webs among all the groups would be the same. ++ i got to bond with irfan and dom here. Wahahahaha. Yknow people cried that moment.
Tenzing! Omg i love these bunch of people. Here we were awarded apple crumble made by our instructor! Our first desert in five days~ I can honestly say, within those five days itself, i got to know some of them more than people ive known longer in greenridge/swiss. Like this girl, Ain, in yellow above. It was our turn to patrol that night around 3am-4am, she confided to me about her love life and asked me for advice. Again, five days only. Five days without my handphone, so what? I got them.
Still got the eye power to carry on? Okay, go on. :>
Yep this year was YOG year. I know it isnt much to many people, somehow it isnt to me too hahaha, but i was one of the 47190347138471 youths involved in this entire event.
Youth Olympic Village!!!! Wow definitely 100% a chance of a lifetime. When will i get to meet so many foreign athletes again? And to take a picture with badm player huangchao? Never. So yes, totally memorable. Only sports leaders went, ugh how many times have i said i'm glad i'm one? :))
A1!! Hahahahaha again thanks to the yog period i could attend the youth sports conference. Some talks were boring, have to admit, i had fun overall. It's like a day camp yknow, going allllllll the way to victoria junior college from morning to night. Where i first learnt the full 'ohyeah x3' song..and did a 2010s dance routine continuously. I dont have any picts of it, but my fave when everyone in the event were split in 3 groups, i was in group 'Y'. We formed a massive 'YOG' in the field that day. Pict taken from above. Hehehehehe. +++ i got 3 awesome shirts for free. These people and shirts part of my life nao.
I went windsurfingggggggggggggggggg!! First time babeh!!!!!
During the YSC, everyone could do a sport on the last day. There was horse riding/fencing/dragon-boating etcetc. I chose..windsurfing. I love water sports hehe. I was the only one from swiss who went aww. But still fun! New friends, new experience. Too bad that day was the day aft the oil spill in east coast, so the water felt oily when we fell in. -.-
Tired yet? You can just stop reading, no one's stopping you hehe. But this is the last i promise!
BAILA BAILA DANCERS!!
*Kasyfil's in our hearts hahaha. Ok it's just the aces routine thingy, but somehow it's memorable to me. Like out of all sec 3s, we 8 pple won. :> Had fun in the process! Like practising on shaun's rooftop and having many N.G.s, making the tutorial video with chee and laz, skipping school to do it at st.anthony's.. :>
3e1!!!
Racial harmony day. It's pretty memorable cos, that day were like one of the only sec3 classes with 43/44 people who wore ethnic costumes. I'm not sure about other classes. Some even went to buy just for that day hehehe. The pict above was taken aft school so some changed out alrdy. :> I seriously love my class!!!
Okay that's all, i think. My trip to taiwan and the states were (Y)(Y) too but they're just overseas trips, i think it's pretty normal. Though flame's been closer than ever, ever since the taiwan trip + trip to ecp + sec4 farewell bbq. Like seriously, every nov/dec holiday they're they pple i see 4 times a week, even more than my other friends. And the hall becomes my second home.
Lastly, i'm happy to have made close friends this year, plus some were those i never spoke to at all in sec 1 and 2. I rmbr when i first came to 3e1, i was super sad splitting from syu eunice dawn mira huda, like, the only one, although i had chee and laz there. K yes were times i felt lonely in 3e1, looool, but i got to make close friends esp in the second part of the year. You people know who you are. ;> Outside 3e1 too ofcourse! Again, i know i dont need to mention names, you know who you are. ;>
You've made my 2010 (Y)(Y)(Y). To SHARED, next year will be a better year.♥♥
Rhiannon loves all you pple for being part of my lifeee!
Idk if i'm making dedications. Maybe, maybe not? We'll see.
Okay you've reached the end. If you see this, i can't believe you actually read alllllllllll.
Thankew. :)
10pm's my countdown party, so i better ciao now and carry on with remaining hmwk.
